Emerson

Sleep is not
Death is not
Who seem to die live
House you  were born in
Friends of your spring time
They are all vanishing
Fleeing to fables
These houses aren't graves
They're secret histories
Waiting to be read.

House history update.

While searching online today I came across Mr. Cummings death certificate.  I guess His middle initial is wrong on ancestry.com, though the other info. they had listed for him is all correct. The cert. lists  his death in 1911 and his home address as our current. :)
Can anyone make out his full cause of death?
The ink on his certificate is smeared... Any help would be appreciated.

Summer Time

Lots of things growing around and ON our house. I'm pretty sure they built it on an Indian burial ground or something....
This is going to be a battle. The whole side of our house is COVERED in vines of all types. {including English Ivy} It runs all the way up 3 floors to the attic and into the gutters. How THE HELL am I going to get that crap out of the gutters?  I would kill it with fire but i'm pretty sure that would take the house as well.
On the other hand Caleb's garden is growing beautifully and my strawberries and salvia are doing good too. The grape vine that runs the length of our yard has produced  a ton of grapes. They are about the size of Pistachios in the shell at the moment, and they are all still green. We can not wait for them to ripen so we can make WINE and jams. I'm thinking of creating custom labels for the wine so we can give them as gifts to our friends...
Any ideas as to what we should name our vinyard/ brewery? :)
